Production Aid

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to fill our team.

Salary and benefits:

• Salary between $60,000 and $75,000 depending on experience/education
• Insurance paid at 90% by the employer (health, teeth, medication)
• Hours: 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (may vary up or down depending on needs)
• Pension fund with employer contribution (you put aside $50 per pay? The employer will add $25 to this amount)
• Annual salary increase

Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct and control production activities to achieve organizational goals
• Communicate expectations to employees related to safety, quality and productivity
• Motivate employees and ensure compliance with working methods
• Give feedback to other employees
• Be present on the floor to ensure the smooth running of production

Required qualities:

• Bilingual – French and English
• Be able to read purchase orders
• Have good problem solving skills
• Experience in personnel management
• Autonomy, good attitude and teamwork
• Knowledge of textiles (an asset)
• Experience with an ERP system (an asset)
• Studies in administration/engineering (an asset)

English is necessary in order to be able to take part in daily meetings with the parent company, which is located in the United States. This corresponds to about 15% of the time and an intermediate level is sufficient.
